History

Ø    After Independence, Crops Acreage and Production was assessed by Revenue Department through ordinary Crop Inspection.

Ø    From July 1st 1984, an independent cell within Agriculture Extension Department was established and named as Agriculture Statistics Wing.

Ø    Assumed the status of Attached Department w.e.f. 21.09.2010and renamed as Crop Reporting Service.
